Dance Marshawn Dance

I’ve always made a pact with myself if The Raiders win everything else is gravy. Fantasy football be damned, and damned I was. Jordy Nelson was a donut for my work league after leaving with a quad injury. Jordan Howard left his game in a sling also leaving me with no points. Terrelle Pryor’s performance reminds me of pretty much every hyped wide receiver free agent who moves teams, disappointing. I can almost call both week 1 and 2 for fantasy a bait and switch. I project to win and my players simply don’t live up to expectations. I may be in for a rough year.

The Raiders however celebrated their greatness at home today. Derek Carr played masterfully passing for 3 touchdowns to Michael Crabtree. Those two can communicate telepathically. It’s beautiful to watch. Our defense showed it bends but doesn’t break. The Jets exposed we can be run on but we can do enough to win the ball game. Our offense demands the opponent match up with us. After a while we simply overwhelmed them and our defense feasted off the vulnerability.

I saw exactly what I wanted from The Raiders. We spanked a much lesser opponent and never played down to their level. Marshawn Lynch scored an easy touchdown off a Jets turnover. Oakland erupted, and as the game was clearly over Marshawn danced. Every Raider post-game we have to discuss what Marshawn did this week. Last week he facetimed with Carr and Deion Sanders, and gave two birds to the cameras. I can’t wait to see what he and the team does next weekend against the deadskins. Maybe Pryor can do some things on a flexible defense.
